I haven't slept much at South Pole, generally only 2-3 hours a night since I arrived here last week. While this isn’t ideal for functioning during the day, it does allow me lots of time to traipse the halls & rooms of the station taking photos and exploring without anyone around at night.
Yesterday I woke up at 2am and went off to do a little wandering. These are a few photos from the inside of the station to give you an idea of what it’s like here… My favorite parts of course are the flowers & books. And the art room is pretty inspiring too.
