Where the Learned Wander

I took these while in Evora, Portugal last month. On the edge of the little town there is a small university with grounds that are more like a large public garden. Many older people seemed to be taking their daily walk or resting on the benches in the shade. My favorite part were the peacocks trotting around everywhere. There were dozens of them nipping at the ground.

And there was a beautiful gazebo in the middle of it all. Empty and inviting. Perfect for a small party in the moonlight...
