South Pole Masks

I came across this small collection of masks in the Quiet Reading Room (aka Library) while wandering through the station the other day. I don't know where they came from, but as I have a friend working on a series of masks, it seemed fitting to post these. 


I wish they had eyes. Masks always creep me out a bit...
